Boosting the body’s natural defence against acne

Skin naturally produces a chemical caused porphyrin to fight the internal bacteria that causes acne. Scientists have discovered that four specific wavelengths of light stimulate the body’s production of porphyrin and dramatically reduce acne by breaking down the bacteria through the production of singlet oxygen. All iPulse-based devices are able to produce all these wavelengths.

Because they constantly produce the optimum light energy for treatments iPulse-based products don’t need filters and deliver the full spectrum of light. This means that the multiple wavelengths of light that stimulate porphyrins can be produced at once.
